Aokigahara also known as the Suicide Forest is beautiful in the type of way where you can't stop staring into it. At the same time, it's eerie and there are moments where you get cold and the hair on the back of your neck stands upright. Walking off the path was an experience I wouldn't take back but some of the things we found were just heartbreaking. If you need help, reach out to a friend or family member, maybe even someone in your community. This forest has seen so much death and loss that it makes me wonder if someone could have just talked to that person, it could have been a different story. Just try to talk before giving it all up. It feels like home now. It's our first home together so it's hard not to feel that way about it. We'll be here for another year and a half almost.

Yeah, the way things are done out here make everything a little more expensive. Toll roads on almost all highways, always paying for parking everywhere, food isn't as expensive unless you're in a nice restaurant where it makes more sense and the cost of living is way more expensive. I was talking to my realtor lady and she said rent prices go up for Americans because they assume you have more money.
