he's GIGA autistic. he has a tendency to come off as scary to people he doesnt know and hasnt opened up to yet, but when he does open up hes just really weird and kind of childish. he sings to himself a lot (he's awful at it) and gloats about how amazing he is of a singer as a joke. speaking of i think he has the dumbest sense of humour. he has the 'hey can you pass me that' 'no' proceeds to pass it to them anyway type of humour. very much the 'child prodigy' type. he won some kind of big youth robotics competition when he was a teenager and managed to get a scholarship because of it, alongside a fuckton of prize money. he was essentially pressured to join by his parents, and once the competition was over, he was extremely burnt out, he didn't go to school for a month or so. he lived in france until he started college, where he moved over to whatever country the btd games are in to study. im assuming america??? new zealand??? he was and still is kind of chronically online, but in the autistic cisgender male stem major way do you know what i mean?????? like he spends a lot of time on reddit and is the type of guy who answers questions people have in absurd detail. hes probably accidentally passive aggressive when hes correcting someone when it comes to engineering. he yearns for tone tags... he also learnt english online too in his early teens, mainly through youtube. he's gay AND fat. booooooo throws tomatoes. he was picked on a lot for it throughout middle school and high school and never grew up with many friends. he had a very close friend he had in elementary and middle who he eventually drifted away from. he owns a pretty sexy camera that he got from an uncle he was close with who is a professional photographer. he taught etienne the basics and gave him his old camera, hes an amateur urban photographer, he does it as a hobby!!! he spent a lot of time playing video games as a kid and still does. his minecraft hours are absurd. he probably attempted to make a shitty mod at some point too. (i joke sometimes that him and benjamin play fortnite duos together because that image actually takes me out) hes abysmal at cooking. idk how he hasnt died of food poisoning yet. instant noodle warrior. puts sage on a fried egg and is proud of himself. googles absolutely everything. if he overhears the name of some random disease, he'll google all of the symptoms and do like half an hours worth of research on it because why not. absolutely hates the matrix. thinks its the worst movie to ever come out ever. hes had a lot of online debates about this. he is PASSIONATE. his bookshelf is basically a 50/50 split between hardcore sci-fi and fantasy. he doesnt care about character development, hes there for the worldbuilding. he listens to dnd podcasts. hes never played it, hes too awkward for it and would suck ass at roleplay. he does adore engineering, but he does sometimes wish he was an artist of some sort instead. hed probably want to write a novel and has probably tried but wasnt proud of the results at all. chronic tail wagger. low key the only way you can tell hes happy. he also rocks back and forth when hes sat in one place for too long. the most random music taste known to man. genuinely the 'i listen to everything' final boss. his liked songs is an absolute mess. this probably isnt all of them but ill stop i really like etienne
