When did writing get hard?

Now that The Boys is almost over can I be honest and say that when I found out Vought Rising was in the works months ago the first thing I searched up was ‘when was Black Noir born’ followed by ‘when is Vought Rising set’ and after finding out he was born almost 20 years after 1940 I immediately lost all interest

Ok so Homelander keeping Soldier Boy in a cryo chamber even after he betrayed him means that in episode 8 we get to go into the basement and see Black Noir also in a cryo chamber because Homelander loves to hoard his loved ones even after they try and leave him! And then they are freed and they team up to kill Homelander together! Right guys? Guys? Guys where are you going?

First episode with no Noirs, I was barely able to get through it…

The Deep still alive and Original Black Noir not mentioned once… I can’t take this anymore

How am I a multishipper and STILL starved of content?

Black Noir and Homelander just started dating on my island and Soldier Boy has a crush on Noir oh it’s messy

The new The Boys episode is the thing that has gotten me the closest to buying tomodachi ltd just so I can give black noir the life he deserves because if a whole team of writers can’t give EITHER of them a satisfying ending I’ll just do it myself

Character death affecting me so deeply that I’m considering calling off work to grieve my loss

Day 1 after experiencing my second black noir death. Every time I see anything that is the colour black I start to sob uncontrollably, and the smell of fish sends me into a violent rage

Writing canon divergence and swapping Maeve for Noir in the airplane scene for episode 4 is making me realise just how much will be effected story wise (she doesn’t go and see Elena because she’s not miserable, etc) and now I’m going to actually have to change how the story progresses instead of just watching an episode and writing what happens but with Noirs internal monologue
