The Real Folk Blues...

Today I lost a friend, she was the best at bringing a smile to my face whenever I had a shitty day, never asked for much other than time and attention and that she got; along with her usual treats. I just hope I was able to give you the best life I could have given you girl. Hopefully once my journey comes to an end, I'll be able to see you at the rainbow bridge, that is if the powers that be will allow me to. I know you're in a better place now, you're no longer suffering or in pain but thank you for the companionship you have given me for the last 14 years I'll cherish them forever.
