Chimalli is a luchador from a family of lucha libre royalty. After breaking up with his latest fling, he gets dragged to the nightclub by his homeboy, Vasquez and meets Minerva Rivera (Winnie), a plus-size Latina cartoonist and becomes smitten. From there, they navigate the ups and downs of not just their relationship but also outside forces that try to use Winnie as a weakness against Chimalli. Both of them also have their own personal issues/trauma that they're both dealing with that can either make their relationship stronger or break them.
