Which jojo parts have you watched?
Now that's funny, because I actually have watched part 1 2 3... and half part 3 I found the anime a bit too slow and a bit repetitive in the fights, so I switched to the Manga, started reading it and just finished part 8 some years ago, it was a bit before part 9 was announced and had that first image shown and all that, yea. So I'll use this ask to express my feelings for the jjba parts I've watched/read!! + some rare fanart for jojos and jofoes I never drew before (big big long wall of text incoming)
First, Phatom blood was interesting, I loved the little thing about Jonathan trying to be a gentleman but failing at those things lol. I don't see that much, but I really feel that Jonathan's character is more "trying to be a very proper gentleman but he always ends up being too clumsy and messing something up" than "noble gentleman that's always gentle", but I like the silly memes about him anyway. Willian A. Zepellin was SO cool danwghh I loved him 😭 same with Speedwagon, he's very cool! in general, I watched the anime and felt some heavy vibes of horror, dark themes around, zombies, vampires and fantasy, like warriors n stuff, very interesting. overall an interesting part for me, I find it cool, just a bit rushed if anything, and... Jonathan's silly moments that appeared only in the manga..... him eating chocolate.... Danny.... socute....
Now, I don't remember much about Battle Tendency, but I know it was cool too! I remember having this very heavy atmosphere of like, old american civilizations like the Incas, Aztec, and maya, they're also so so cool omgggg.... latin america has some super cool story istg. I really like the dynamic Ceaser and Joseph have, they're very interesting to watch overall. I liked the dramatic moments, they are exaggerated sometimes, but yk that's what makes them so fun to me!! very bulky dudes too, they're big as shit wtf, huge I'm telling ya. loved the setting too, felt fun, something older, like 30s 40s, more serious sometimes too. overall, it felt more light, more action! less dark than the first part in comparison, to me at least. cool af, the music SLAPS too woaaa
For Stardust Crusaders.... uhh look don't get me wrong the Stands and all that is very cool and action, all that good stuff but... uhhmmm maaaan I started to feel a bit tired with the enemies 💔 started to feel a lot like this whole "enemy of the week" thing, I think that's how you call that, always an enemy to defeat, and you know that the protagonist is going to win in a cool way bc duh, and some cool concepts being introduced just once also bothered me a bit. but overall, cool af, so tuff man.
Diamond is Unbreakable feels so nice!! I mean, sure there's a weird serial killer walking around this small city and all, but cmon the vibes are so nice, it feels so casual and... idk, makes me want to relax, reminds me of my own super small city I live on currently, sometimes I joke with my friends that we live in Morioh lol. very cool, one of my favorites!! what can I say? it's just so cool, I think it balances the funny, light parts well with the more serious, tense moments. common DiU W
Golden Wind... fcking hell how do I say this but uhhh,..... this is kinda like... my least favorite part actually.... 💀 big shocker ik ik, but man, I remember reading it for the first time and thinking like "oh wow, this part takes place in Italy? cool! I might learn some interesting italian facts and very interesting places and the history :) the author seems like a fan of that country anyway" and then realizing it was all centered around mafia...... I did some serious side eye in that moment lmfaoo!! but like!! oh, man! how can I say that?? it feels like the weakest part! cool, sure, but... compared to the others?? it feels almost isolated! like a DLC to the other parts, like a little side quest, those things, yk... the reason this goddamn is about vento aureo? uh it's actually because I really like the characters and dynamics, they're so neat and match super well... if it wasn't that I would do something else sorry😭😭 but!! ohh, man, Giorno feels kinda like Jotaro to me too, always so neat and perfect, I get he is a shounen protagonist, needs to be very cool, but cmon he is 15 let him be a mess sometimes too bro. overall... this part is..... idk,,,, I'm not mad, just a bit underwhelmed with you Golden Wind, srry
Stone Ocean uhm I remember so little too, but it's so cool! feels very big, I mean, there's all those big concepts and the whole universe reseting. very tense, very interesting! I love Jolyne!! she's one of the best Jojos to me!! so well written, she feels like a human to me, with flaws, contradicting in such a good way, you get it. love her sm can't believe some people hate my girl awn. overall? super cool bro, so many interesting concepts and little things happening, and I feel like they all kinda connect in a way or another, and the characters feel SO alive ayyayayy I love my lesbians too bro💋
no words for Steel Ball Run, so good! it feels so nice, like a real race to me, all tense, all, like, idk fast. the characters are amazing too! they are usually all morally gray, and I love a morally gray character, always!! idk what to say, just... Pocoloco my man, you are so cool, my goat, love you sm 💋 keep being super cool my bro. again, no words, it's all so amazing, what can I say that haven't been said already? probably my favorite part!!
Awwnn I love Jojolion too... more jojolion love pls...... I took such a LONG time to finish that tho, the worst part to me is that many concepts and little things are introduced, and then... boom, gone! like Karera, I found her interesting, then she just doesn't appear again!?!? that's certainly the weakest part for me. but yo, the characters are interesting, and... lemme just say... so many characters, but especially the ones in jojolion, they.... feel so neurodivergent to me in a way, especially autistic or ADHD, just lemme say that alright..... might be why Jojo was one of my biggest interests, it feels quite comforting in a way, the characters sometimes act all "weird" like me, I felt more seen, like a comfortable space to be myself, or just seeing a character that I can relate to, those sweet things. jojolion was very fun anyway, very wacky and over the top sometimes, but ay, I can't say it wasn't cool
I haven't read Jojolands much lately, and... lemme be honest, I might not too soon 💔 sadly, my interest in JJBA is slowly getting smaller, I'm starting to get interested in other things, sometimes they appear as little silly crossover things, but maybe you guys have noticed that I'm adding more than just JJBA in my blog. I still love the asks and those suggestions! but somehow, even with a special interest, it starts to feel a bit tiring to do the same thing over and over again, especially if you're consuming other things.
that doesn't mean this blog is ending or anything, of course not!! that just means I'm finding other things to read/watch, things very unrelated to JJBA sometimes that might not interest you guys in this blog, so I always try to keep those other interests and crossovers away from the main content in this blog, yk.
I mean, I know that you guys are more into anime or other content similar to JJBA, not freaking Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Brave New World and those big ass books you usually are forced to read in high school soooo....😭 yeah...
sadly, my interest in JJBA is getting smaller. I'm starting to read more old classic books, or movies like The Shining, Clockwork Orange, Breaking Bad (& better call saul), those serious stuff yk. I noticed that I'm more interested in realistic fiction or at least works that focus more on those psychological/political things, big shit and all that stuff that makes you think a lot usually. for whatever reason high fantasy and fiction that focus on world building and all that isn't my thing.
idk how, but stuff like animes with any type of superpowers, big things like fights and a cool world just?? bores me?!?! even animes focused on heavy themes just feel kinda dramatic to me, idk how to explain without making a big boring wall of text but.... ehh, I fear I find those things 𝓅𝒽𝑜𝓃𝓎 sometimes, or at least a bit too big, I prefer more the realistic stuff, like gothic literature n all ya know. just my thing lolol. And this text was vague, even. I could spend hours just talking about my interests for real. Please do that, reserve some time to appreciate it and enjoy your silly things and express yourself, especially if you tend to rush many things bro❤️
man I love drawing older men... sigh, I love mature looking men the ones with beard the men that look all cool and arghhhghhh😤😤
