Lately I’ve been trying to get a bit out of my comfort zone and play with different textures and depths. I find carving wax incredibly satisfying because I get to experiment a lot with all sort of different design directions. So while I was carving this beauty, all I was thinking of was depth and texture. I decided to give a shiny polish to the base and a nice and subtle texture in matte finish to the bump. This texture has helped this beautiful wave find its natural and subtle flow.
