I was replying to a comment on one of your YT videos and just decided to send on tumblr instead. Not sure if you've read the Eragon series but since we're barraged with badly written black girl characters or them not existing at all, I always tell black girls to tap into the Eragon series. Disney is apparently planning to adapt it into a show which is cool and the books by themselves are still great for those who like the fantasy and medieval genres. He's not perfect but author wrote Nasuada, the black female lead character so well and void of stereotypes it made the bad writing for other black female characters so much more obvious. I saw someone in the fandom complaining about her not caring enough about the problems of other characters and that's when I knew the author did a great job not giving her the mammy stereotype lmfaoo π€£
