“You know, that’s a pretty good story,” the slave said with a laugh. “It’d be better if it wasn’t a total lie, of course.”

"Do you speak to all your superiors so rudely?" Ella questioned with a narrowed gaze.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Ella called after her, watching as the wolf all but stumbled her way onto the sidewalk. "I didn't mean any offense by it," she stated as she kept a watchful eye on the woman. "Medically speaking I find the whole thing fascinating, especially the regenerative  properties the vampires and werewolves seem to exhibit."

“That I was. Ever since your little chat he’s been keeping his twirpy trap shut.” Ella watched her as she stood up, unbothered by her nakedness. “So you’re a wolf,” she commented in slight awe. “fascinating.”

"We met once in the courtyard of the Chateau," Ella stated with a frown. the amount of blood on the woman looked to be about two pints and Ella had to wonder if whoever’s blood it was if they had survived.

"Long enough to wonder if you're hurt and need assistance," Ella stated, her eyes still trained on the blood splattered across the woman's face.

"Or maybe I'm tired of fighting and would really like to be left alone." Even as she spoke he was signaling for the guard who stepped forward rather begrudgingly and opened up her cell. "Excuse me if I don't see the humor in it. Must be the blood seeping into my eyes from the gash on my head." With a small groan she pushed herself off of the floor, wobbling on her feet for a moment before stepping out into the hall.

Ella stared at the vampire whose eyes seemed to blacken at the sight or smell of her blood, she wasn't sure which. If he expected her to scream he was going to be disappointed. She merely stared at him with a clenched jaw, waiting for the inevitable.
