I need a new place to yap about my oc's, cuz blsky has symbol limit and telegram... I feel like people there don't really want to see a lot of yapping. So tumblr it is. Also apologising in advance for my english, it might sounds stupid.
Gonna start with somekind of lore introduction:
The world is on the verge of a new apocalypse due to the increased aggression from hostile creatures. The regions with the highest concentration of these beasts are marked as infected. Their attacks are infectious, excessively weakening the body, they shorten life expectancy. If not having special equipment that can withstand such damage, unarmed residents risk dying instantly. Or if not being immune to such an environment. Alas the government led by the nation isolated infected territories from safe areas of the country, leaving this situation "for later".
The story take place in an alternative universe where the Solar System is much smaller and consists of four planets, one of which is S-625 - the second planet from the Sun, belonging to the terrestrial group. The only planet on which life exists, the species characterized as anthropomorphs.
(in structure and characteristics - identical to our Earth and, in fact, is its replacement.)
All events and plot in general happening in one country:
Subastra (from Latin "sub astra" - "under the stars") - The only country-continent located on the planet S-625, and the center of events where post-apocalyptic realities mixed with mundane life.
Once, dividing its lands between two species - humans and anthropomorphs, Subastra was more favorable for existence. Currently, leaving only anthropomorphs, since they won the war against humans, some territories of the country suffer from beasts of unknown origin, which were called hostile creatures.
Due to periodic outbreaks of their aggression, the places occupied by them underwent the so-called purge, until it was possible to drive these beasts as far as possible, where they wouldn't cause more harm to the population. Such zones began to be called hollows, being mostly destroyed, without a single living soul. Since the creatures could return there at any moment, these areas are guarded by special units in order to anticipate new attacks, evacuate the nearest cities, and conduct purges again.
Territories that remained overrun by hostile creatures, without the possibility of their extermination, were marked as infected.
Currently, the planet S-625 is inhabited by anthropomorphs (yea that's all the dogs yall see in my oc related arts) - the only known dominant species. Anthropomorphs represent dogs that resemble humans: both externally - in proportions, shape, features, attributes, and intellectually - in motivations, intentions, and emotions. Visually, what distinguishes them from humans is a pronounced dog head, a developed coccyx bone that goes into a functioning tail, and feet with characteristic dog toes. Depending on the breed, anthropomorphs can have fur of different thickness and color.
I'm gonna yap about species and history later, cuz I'm still writing this info down, there's A LOT.
The story called "In Defiance of Death" (Ukrainian: "ΠΠ°ΠΏΠ΅ΡΠ΅ΠΊΡΡ Π‘ΠΌΠ΅ΡΡΡ"). The name speaks for itself - all of the characters are related to death in some way or another. It conveys that despite the same encounter with lethal treat, each character has a different experience, directly or indirectly, and resists in their own way depending on the situation. Maybe not as bravely as someone else in the plot, but still goes against it.
I think this is the first time I publicly acknowledge that my oc's rumbling actually have name lol, but idk for what reason I don't feel like putting the name as a hashtag to indicate my oc's stuff. Maybe I'll rethink it but for now it'll be just "eliks dogs and blops"
