Playing a regular game before the Weird Route was definitely the best move (my main Save is the Weird Route—) since it allowed me more clearly see some differences in regular dialogue when I aborted it by accident, mostly at the start though rather than the end (for obvious reasons for the ones that have seen what happens)

So for the aborted one, I had an inkling of a feeling I was doing something wrong when I reached the castle just before the Orange Fight, truly the only differences I could tell were when Susie picks you up from the Lake Table remarking how Kris has been odd/down lately then cue the Regular Route, go through the Dark World yadda yadda. Though I did love the Noelle Scene of "The Dream didn't happen" it was greatly executed, haunting even, the flashes of each scene partly felt like Kris regaining consciousness from almost drowning

Now for the actual Weird Route, I, this mfs gonna drown, at least one of them (something something Noelle was used up, you were used up) or they're gonna arrive with 1hp each, I did not expect the responses to be on a timer (caused me to have to spam the keys at some point and my keyboard is LOUD) but now I do have to wonder, we'll probably have to do that again when Chapter 7 comes around, Right? Considering the safe itself doesn't get registered on the menu it only makes sense if that happens

The Pink fight was probably one of the best fights I've experienced through ut/dr not only in an actual gameplay sense but in an actual visual sense, I adored how over the top it was, from it basically being a show and having a parody of the "Lightners Live" header to the music (HATSUNE MIKU??/silly), plus I really adored how her talk sprite was different, mimicking how it is in visual novels sometimes before her actual fight

Wouldn't say the hardest ngl, far from it actually, hardest =/= fun tho and I have to admit that fight was VERY fun, I personally liked the creative approach to the purple (pink?/silly) soul this time around, in particular I considered the circular attack with the electricity quite amusing! Easily my favourite

Lets not forget the dating sections! Those were hilarious as shit, now I am incredibly AroAce but I find Dating Sims amusing because how ridiculous they can be (I like SOME Dating Sims not all of them, I like them on the very goofy side a lot) so I really liked the UI layout and the whole "Gimmick" behind it (Even though I have to admit I died to the last attack once, still worth it tho the fight doesn't feel like a drag to do)

He's hateable and that's by design

He is meant to provoke you, clearly seen by how Ralsei reacts to how he acts when you first meet him, mainly Flowery forcing down the "role" Ralsei had in the prophesy by forcing down the hat on him (her? I do believe Ralsei will fully identify as a woman/girl later specially after the climbing minigame in the chapel but I'll use his current pronouns for now)

Plus how he magically seems to "enchant" Susie at the start convincing her that he's not such a bad guy even after being shown how he is actively preventing us from reaching Asgore (instructed by Kris? The Knight? He just wanted to do that?) and actively just kinda work against us

He had a "noble" reason to do that yes just by wanting Asgore to have a safe place but definitely pushing his child away was not the move

At the end of the day he ends up making himself quite self absorbed to a degree, though I do find that he:

Told Susie about the code

His last ditch effort to prevent the knight from taking Asgore (even if he failed)

Quite empathetic of him

The start did feel too much like "oh yes this is a callback ahaha" which did get annoying to a certain point, I enjoyed the middle with the cliffs and the castle, all the flowers were enjoyable characters imo (not counting flowery on this I have opinions about flowery)

Yellow is a mood

The ending with the Roaring Knight taking Asgore I did not expect, like it's not too surprising in hind sight because of how the Knight has been acting but I thought from the police only Undyne eould get taken, now I wonder if the people being taken are people that "know too much" in a sense

Also Susie I am begging you to be more suspicious of Kris, Susie you said it yourself, they were in the back when the fountain opened c'mon girliepop

Also I did like that my suspicion was confirmed that Susie does sleep in the closet/dark fountain from the school, if this was common knowledge before idk I really haven't really gotten too much into Deltarune until some months ago (and I still don't think I'm super into it)
