All in all. Is just blizzard don't giving a fact about their own lore and even less about night elves. WoW kaldorei aren't the same as Warcraft 3 kaldorei, much as it hurts literally everyone. And, after all, is just an artistic depiction of the aftermath of a fight scene. Being too concerned about little details like that which have little to no mention during the research i've done over the years is a bit pointless. :)
