Frost needed a break from his daily routine. Although he enjoyed his job and wouldnât trade it for anything in the world. His constant insisting on being the only employee in such a location like his was stressful. He needed a break today, to ease the burden on his shoulders.
Although his establishment didnât have some fancy title, it was a pretty well known place to go to in Hotlands. It was one of the fancier locations in the underground, particularly favored by couples and wedded monsters due to the atmosphere and decorations. However, that didnât mean this elemental was well known, at least by those who werenât invested in the food industry.Â
He was on his way to his home in New Home, looking up at the various buildings as monsters strolled past him with their own lives, some smiling and other laughing. He had elected on taking a new route home, wanting to give himself a bit more time to de-stress before entering his sanctum.Â
This detour however would lead him to a new location heâs heard gossip about but never had the chance to visit. The Port In A Storm. The elemental puckering his lips to the side as he watched monsters flood inside and out during lunch hour.
Seeing as how he had to skip lunch to lock up his restaurant, he couldnât help but feel this would be a perfect opportunity to check out what the place had to offer. The blue hued elemental fixing the cuffs on his black sweater and adjusting his grey over vest to ensure he looked prim and proper.
Heâd step through the doors slowly, making way for whoever might move past him. Frost took a second, memorizing the faces of the bar, seeing what kind of people dined here. His eyes fluttering past to the materials used to make this place, then the employees, and every small detail his critical eye could manage.
It was a fairly cozy place to settle down and dine. Even if everything wasnât exactly to his taste, it wasnât anything to sneeze at either. His eyes settled on the bar before they expanded to the size of plates.
It wasnât often that one finds another of your kind! Itâs even rarer to find that someone of your species had a similar profession as you did. Oh this news tickled Frost to his icy core, making him smile ever so brightly as his eyes shined brightly behind the pair of glasses.
Heâd take a seat down by the bar, wanting to start his break off with a nice drink. Perhaps heâd even get to introduce himself to the new elemental and make a friend? He could dream at least!
Heâd wait till the other acknowledged him, taking a moment to peer once more towards whatever menu they place had to offer. If none, deciding to elect on some simple, generic whisky. He didnât want to overstay his welcome by requesting things the pub didnât have nor ruin his introduction by seeming too snobby for what they might have.
