Elo (last name Almhaggan, not that he broadcasts this fact): Local monster hunter, seeker and overall menace to respectable society. Sweet talking, fast walking and the person who triggers the questlines of two other people. He was raised by the dockworkers after being turned into a drownie in his youth, a result of being drowned by a surface pearling ship for theft. None of his family know he still lives. In spite of this morbid story, Elo dons a mischievous, charismatic persona, with his ideas shaking the upperclass and heirarchy of the Neath around him. He doesn't dream of drowning. He doesn't hear voices in the salt and sand. Nuh uh. BAG A LEGEND Highest stat: persuasive Lowest stat: watchful (i love seeking so much hahaha.) Hedonist, subtle, daring and melancholy Archie: Well, his full name is Archibald May Hendricks. I just cannot be bothered writing that every time, and I'm sure the denizens of the Neath cannot be bothered saying it either. The spare spare for his family's pearl empire, Archie was third in line to his families fortune. This, theoretically, should have allowed him some freedom in life; unfortunately, during a workers riot on the surface, Archie's eldest brother was killed. As the now second in line, Archie had his parents designs of who he should be beaten into him. It was Elo at a gala that first planted the idea that everything he had been taught might have been wrong. After all, here was a person who had been raised by dockworkers of all people, now the center of attention, with the new wealth hanging off his every word. How dare he. Myala Almhaggan: Myala has seen things. The rat-ridden trenches of world war I are not something you can forget. She took on her one remaining fathers identity during enlistment, serving as a member of the infantry in the British army. She had lost her younger brother brother. that was enough. Whilst the army forbade women within their ranks due to their 'fairer constitution,' Myala rose through the ranks; if not officially. She was often turned to by her comrades as the de-facto leader, when their overseeing officers inevitably turned tail or froze, earning her the nickname 'Captain.' As it turns out, her efforts were for naught, when the town she grew up in was bombed by an enemy cruiser, with her father and one of her mothers dying in the event. And then the war ended. Myala had nowhere left to direct her fury, her pain. She couldn't face her mother, not with this blood on her hands, hands only built to hurt. So she set out to track down the person who had committed the first crime against her family. She was going to find the people who had killed her baby brother, and make them pay. NEMESIS highest stat: dangerous lowest stat: persuasive Forceful and merciless Locke Blake: (yes i named him Locke Blake) Locke was born a child no one wanted, or no one could keep. No one is quite sure which is which; not even Locke himself. Either way, he grew up amongst the ranks of the fisher-kings, earning his name by picking pockets, and, more importantly, locks. Hence the name. Urchins are a very literal bunch. As Locke grew out of the urchin gang, he continued his normal ways of making ends meet. Aka, theft. And he was good at it. Eventually he fell under the employ of the Cheery Man, acting as a lockpick, along with finding and disarming any traps the crew might come across. It was during this time he heard rumors of a diamond the size of a cow. Well, that would certainly earn him a name, and a damn few echoes as well. Which meant security, for the first time in his life. And so, Locke began his search, infiltrating the upper echelons of society, particularly targeting families involved in the rare gemstone trade.
