“…Very well, lads.” He straightened his cap. “i’ll allow this large scale baking operation. But you know the rules. No rough housing inside, ad if you make a mess, you clean it up. Understood?”

He was going to be keeping an eye on them regardless. But at least it wasn’t a mass of Cupheads…

  “Y-Yes, sir! Understood!” The entire visible Mugman army immediately gave Elder Kettle a hardy salute, all in unison. The were still the polite little mug, through and through, if a bit more..

  chaotic. 

Reckless, maybe. 

 “W..Would’ja like some, ‘fore we hop off?”

“Well.” He smiles and gives the closest Mugman a gentle pat. “If you’re offering. I need to have a sit down, but I’ll be around.”

“What I THINK is that I see a bunch of Mugmen who are currently not using their powers for good.” He harumphs. “Do you know what good you could do with all these clones, Mugman? Do you? How many people you could be helping cross the street? How many people you could be helping with chores! Think, lads! Think of how much praise and potential pocket money you could get! If you just pooled your powers into something productive!”

He squints. “I’m making myself clear, correct…?”

“We were gonna make is a surprise, Elder Kettle…” About thirty or so of them offer a guilty look to the older porcelain, and about half look away, ashamed. 

 Three speaks up, coming forward with arms crossed and a puffy look to his face. 

 “We’re making sweets for everyone, gramps. You’re right cl-clear here, sir!”
