One day, I will fully accept that you can’t be mine.

What I’ve learned in 2017: 1. There’s no one that’s perfect. Someone that you may think is perfect, can be actually rotten from the heart. That’s why I’d rather know someone who’s not perfect than the ones that seem 'perfect’ from outside but not inside. 2. You don’t have to be friends with everyone and it’s okay. It’s 2017, you don’t need their approval just so you can exist. Being a lone wolf is good for a change. 3. Family’s bond is important. Don’t let it break. Always try to make time for them. They’re the ones that will be there to pick you up when you fall apart. 4. Some people won’t apologize for hurting you. They won’t feel guilty at all. Cut them off quickly. 5. Sometimes in one of those days, you still miss him, but this year, you can accept that he won’t be back in your life. 6. Don’t let social media dictate your life. Sometimes it’s good to take a break from them just so you can just enjoy the moment. 7. Those opinions from the ones who don’t care about you shouldn’t matter to you. You don’t have to listen to them. 8. Just because you don’t post a lot about your beautiful life, it doesn’t mean that you are not happy. 9. Do what makes you happy. If you don’t, at least try to find some positivity in it. 10. You will fail at some point, but you also can get up. It’s up to you. You are the one who has choices whether to get up and move on or not.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

Don’t ever let someone make you feel like you’re crazy for wanting what you deserve.

I guess being needed is almost as good as being loved. Maybe better.

If all the wounds on your body can heal, then so can your heart.

Scars. A sign that you had been hurt. A sign that you had healed.

It’s okay to wait for the love you deserve, do not compromise or settle because of loneliness.

I’m just trying to be okay. And some days that’s harder than others.

That’s why we read fiction, isn’t it? To remind us that whatever we suffer, we’re not the only ones?
