Thinking about Cam and Pal and the distinction between them. The little things that are different, past even the things that Nona mentions in the book.

Like how Pal would probably seem a bit taller as he's always standing straight. How cam is more tense and more eyebrows while Pal lets his face relax.

Dirk Gently and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Halloween

WIP: Dirk and Todd’s Last Scene  - Animated Reimagining. 

A snippet of the animation I’ve been working on for ages of the ending we all I wanted to see. This is not the whole thing and I don’t know if I’ll ever finish it but I really want to, I’ve just been busy with work and other things. Words of encouragement greatly appreciated!! 

This seems like such a nice and friendly fandom - i know im new and basically on a manic drawing spree at the moment which may or may not cool down slightly when ive gotten all of this initial creative energy out of my system but looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of you <3

Omg THANK YOU this has made me so happy. Happy you appreciate the hands especially - fun fact I was once put on an animation project at work where i drew nothing but hands for over three months straight. Ive drawn so darn many hands - I was basically in hand prison. But it makes me so happy when people comment on hands I’ve drawn because it means it all paid off haha!

I know i cant believe they literally just LOST the kitten, I so thought she would show up again. I hope shes okay!! Wonder if shed go to the ocean seeing as shes a shark on the inside.

I *think* ive figured out that the reason I find Todd hard is because i know Elijah Wood so much better as an actor and ive seen him in a million things and so i get alot more hung up on “does this look like Elijah Wood” rather than “does this capture the essence of Todd” - but because ive only ever seen Sam as Dirk its much easier to focus on capturing the character rather than the likeness of the actor.
