βit was the norm back thenβ.
if heβs the most perfect man to ever live, his way of life should uphold in every single era. the most perfect man would not own slaves or marry children.
even if it was the norm back then, a man who supposedly exists as a role model for all of humanity should not follow the barbaric society he lived in and should have instead lived a life of higher morality to show everyone how it should be done.
take your own logic into play: a muslim woman in a secular country should still wear the hijab even though the society she lives in doesnβt practice that because you all believe it is mandatory and the right thing for a believing woman to do.
she doesnβt follow the trend of those around her and upholds her values.
shouldnβt your perfect prophet have done the same?
