I give basic rundown of their personalities and what the slender man uses them for as proxies.

The bystander, legal name Angelos Aeros, is an "experienced" decoder and analytic/perceptive proxy.

Not very useful when it comes to taking out targets but very efficient in finding good prey(people who are easy to take out or are causing the operator problems) and potential proxies.

They are a shut-in whose mother used to be a somewhat valuable asset to the operators cause until Angelos was born.

Before being recruited, Angelos had an obsession with the paranormal and unknown stemming from his morbid curiosity from a brief encounter with the operator when he was very young, as well as a suspicion that it had something to do with his mothers sudden death when he was 18 and various disturbing tragedies happening around him constantly. (will explain the rest another time :P)

He seems to find the other inhabitants and proxies unsettling and sometimes even seems repulsed by them. Despite this, they seem too afraid to speak up about their discomfort and tend to keep quiet about it. Its not about the people themselves but their actions, and yet they never make an attempt to escape their situation or express how demoralized they feel by being where they are.

To summarize, they are a pushover and a coward.

Crosseyed, legal name Kristoph Webber (but she prefers Kris or Krissy :D), is a rather peculiar case when it comes to the various killers in the residence. She seems to have some sort of supernatural force effecting her body, or specifically, her eyes.

Despite her occasional clumsiness, she is rather precise and delicate with her tasks if the target has "good eyes" as she'd say. She will still carry out the task given if the target does not have good vision, but will be significantly less willing.

Before joining, she lived in a small town with heavily christian parents and a very bad visual impairment(esotropia strabismus, which gave her a lazy eye)she was frequently shamed for by her parents. Kris's parents believed that disabled people were punished by god for being sinful in a past life and often treated her disability as an inconvenience, as their family wasn't very well off and the American healthcare system is shit. (will explain the rest of her backstory another time :P)
