Dungeoneers!  This is the prototype comic that ended up stirring my interest in making a web comic.

Since it’s old, and my pencil handwriting is poor:

Jenece: I'm going to go on ahead.

Joseph: Are you, daft?

DM: As you descend you feel the atmosphere chill and your breath quickens.

Jenece: OoOOoo Scary~

My character shivers as

she climbs down the ladder.

Joseph: I roll a stone craft check...

(1+2+(-3)= 0)

DM: Without looking you

assume it is Dwarven

craft-- utterly flawless

Joseph: "Aye, always warms me stoney heart teh know I'm walking on Dwarven ground."

Roggy: This dungeon is known for the

Dwarven craftsmen who slaved

for centur(ies)--

Vanirra: If they're anything like you I'm sure I'll be fine (roll for bluff check: 4+4+20= 28)

Roggy: (Sense motive 12) Gosh, yer gonna make me blush!

DM: As you scale down, it is as if the cold is swallow[ing] the light up above.

Vanirra: Hey Roggy, could you be a sweety and get the torch from the handysack?

Roggy: Tough it out, Vanirra. Everything looks safe to me

Vanirra: If you say so...

DM: Wait, how can you see again?

Joseph: Dwarven dark vision!

Roggy: It's a relatively small room, same stone as before.  Hm, an opening and damp torches.

Joseph: Drawrven master race represent!

Jenece: I guess that charisma penalty doesn't mean much in the dark... (ha ha he he)

Joseph: It's probably why they have it besides Tolkein's blatant  racism.

Jenece: Great Scott!

DM: "Roggy peaks his head around the corner into the

next room and sees a large expanse of alternating

black and white tiles on the floor.  And the ceiling is

rather low for a room of this size.  All of this is made with stone."

Jenece: What does Vanirra see?

DM: Nothing but the eternal darkness, her eyes dilate in a futile attempt to discover light.

-I'M BLIND-

I should have listened to Dr. Rabbit.
