most recent film: I think it would’ve been Rock Of Ages? No, wait! It was Steel Magnolias. I forgot my mom and I watched it last weekend.

most recent series: Interview With The Vampire AMC. I haven’t been picking up shows as much lately, but the first season of IWTV dropped on Netflix a couple months back and I watched it. Don’t think I’ve watched another show since— Dammit, I forgot Yellowstone. I finished Yellowstone like a month ago, finally.

sweet/salty/savory: Usually sweet or salty depending on the day and the mood I’m in. Today, I’m feeling both.

tea/coffee: I love both, rarely drink them. I take my black tea iced, my peppermint tea hot, and my coffee both decaf and hot.

working on: I think the WIP count is at seven? I’ve got a Hangster smutshot that needs a little more work but is almost ready, the Icemav POW AU is on it’s way, I’ve been sitting on another Tombstone oneshot, plus I keep bouncing between a Stripper Jake/Bouncer Bradley AU, a trans Mav character study, and a Preacher Bradley/Witch Jake AU. I’ve been busy. Edit to add — I completely forgot about my Icemav Selkie/Sailor AU! That is also in the works.

A quiet hush fell over their home.

“Pete Mitchell?” Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky had laughed when I asked him about the ex-member of his band, Ice For The Pilots. “Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.”

Those early days of Vampirism shone bright, like freshly polished silver.

Sarah looked at him across the table, the air held up solely by it’s fragile silence.

His very first night, the tower was quiet. Levi was alone with naught but the forest and it was strange.

“Momma, you’ve gotta get up,” Little Pete heard his brother say as he peeked around the corner.

Through a series of unfortunate events, the Dagger squad became convinced that Mav is transphobic, and it was entirely Bradley’s fault.

A rough sigh filled with nothing less than pure exasperation passed his lips as Admiral Nick Bradshaw, callsign ‘Goose’, picked up the call his flag aide just informed him was waiting on the line.

I skipped the multi-chapter fics interspersed throughout because the first chapter of those was published months ago so I just did my ten most recent oneshots.

“Hello?” “Lieutenant Kazansky?”

In the early days of the American Frontier, law and order were as rare and fleeting as the desert rains that could bring the hopeful colors of spring flowers to the otherwise desolate landscape.

The vodka burned down Bradley’s throat as he tossed another shot back. 

Coyote didn’t know what to expect when a group of masked, clearly hostile people pulled him away from the still smoking wreckage of his jet that he had barely managed to land without disappearing into a fireball for the history books.

“Alright, boys and girls, this is your Admiral speaking,” Ice’s voice rang through Rooster’s ears as he shook his hands out in an attempt to steady his nerves.

Bradley didn’t even realize anything was wrong with the way Maverick was driving until flashing red and blue lights appeared in the side mirror of the truck.

Ice was not a person who got scared easily. He never had been.

If he weren’t well versed in the world of pain, Maverick might have thought he was dying.

It was just Maverick’s luck that he would escape being taken prisoner until he was flying a top secret, off the books mission.

The body of the squirrel was still on the side of the road. Maverick winced as he passed it.

Earbuds, headphones, or nothing?: Earbuds. My headphones hurt my ears after many hours (they're cheap $20 Panasonic), but earbuds kinda hurt one ear (I have a conch piercing in that ear).

Last place I went to other than home: Work but not to work. I was hanging out with my uncle (I work in a bar)

A color that looks good on you: Black. Other people have said red and blue too.

Last trailer you saw: Um... Phoenician Scheme? I wanna say the Superman one because it was sent to me, but I don't think I clicked on it.

Tea or Coffee: Tea, but not breakfast tea, more herbal teas, from a massive ass pot of many mixed in together. I have no idea what I'll be drinking. Coffee too, but only coffee flavoured things, I dont like actual coffee.

Currently Reading — Books: I started A Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes literal months ago and have yet to have the time or energy to try snd finish it. Fics: Whatever I can get my hands on. I’ve been oscillating between Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Tombstone, Stranger Things, and Interview With The Vampire (AMC) lately.

Currently Watching — I just finished season 1 of IWTV and I need to find a new show to watch. Though I also still need to watch the last episode of The Offer.

Currently Craving — I would kill for some good pizza right now.

Tea or Coffee — Coffee. I like tea, especially sweet tea or peppermint tea, don’t get me wrong, but a good, warm cup of coffee tastes like home to me. Though I have to drink decaf because it makes me jittery and shaky until it makes me super duper sleepy (love that neurodivergent brain chemistry).

Last song you sang out loud — Half A Song by Cody Johnson. I love doing crackly, messy riffs on country songs, even if I try to be quiet when I do it.

Favorite Chip Flavor — I miss ranch flavored Lays with such a deep yearning. I mourn those chips every day of my life. Out of what’s currently available to me, I usually go for Sour Cream and Onion.

Last Book Opened — Probably The Outsiders to cross-reference something when I was working on my Mav Is Steve Randle WIP (before I lost the whole thing 😭)

Ear buds/headphones — I’m a headphones girl. Earbuds work if it’s all I have, but my headphones will always be my go to.
