I was going for a general 2010s anime art style since it fits the more period specific outfit I whipped up for Phoenix during his college years. I think later on, I’m going to try to design a more alt outfit to really showcase his art major nature. And maybe even more outfits to showcase his character development before passing the bar.

I researched that during the 2010s infinity scarfs, pastel skinny jeans, wedge sneakers, and stripes (to name a few) were all the rage. Which from my memory of 2013 and 2014, seems accurate. Man, the 2010s was when fast fashion got fully embraced after the recession… yeah quality was not the goal then and that unfortunately still applies to the fabric quality nowadays.

That being said, Phoenix’s og outfit isn’t too inaccurate, even if he should’ve been wearing skinny jeans (not like they would’ve known anyways, the first trilogy was made before 2010s). Conveniently, buying those jeans from a thrift store was becoming more socially acceptable, tho I personally believe they could’ve done without the shoes (it vexed me that they straight up put P and W in the US localization, and for what? That would be expensive for a broke college student, not to mention they are abysmal shoes).

Dialogue:

Phoenix: Uh, wow, this is quite a fancy place, Edgeworth. (Clearly underdressed)

Miles: Seems you expected less, Wright.

Phoenix: Hey! Cut me some slack. I thought it'd be another hole in the wall type of joint, not some high end establishment that I could only dream of affording!

Miles: Wright, did I imply we would be splitting the bill this time?

Phoenix: Well-

Miles: And didn't I mention to clean up nice?

Phoenix: I thought you were joking-

Miles: Since when do I joke?

Phoenix mumbles: You do it all the time in court at my expense…

Miles: Those aren't jokes and we aren't in court at the moment... Wright, do you enjoy the moments we are together outside of work?

Phoenix: Well, of course I do! I never thought in a million years we'd spend Christmas Eve together, just the two of us...

Miles: And if I were to propose that I would our outings to be more commonplace, if we could be partners inside and out of court?

Phoenix turns bright red: H-Huh! Um you don't mean-

Miles: Phoenix Wright, will you be my lover?

Phoenix: Oh my God, Edgeworth you really want me to be yours?! You dese-

Miles crossed his arms: Please, do not deprecate yourself, Phoenix, you are a brilliant man, Phoenix. Than being said, is that a yes…?

Phoenix: It is...

Miles: I still haven't heard the word “yes”.

Phoenix groans: Miles! Yes, I want to be your boyfriend!!

Miles leans in: May I?

Phoenix: Yes! (They join their lips together in a sweet kiss.)

Happy Narumitsu week 2025 from Japan!!!

At first I was going to do each prompt separately when I realized… what do I do best? Comic poems! So, I used each prompt as a necessary word that I must include in the poem!! So yes, the poem includes every prompt, meaning I did every prompt on one go! I’m not sure if this allowed, but hope ya guys like it!!
