“Magic Sequence: Spell 1” gouache & watercolor on paper. 12” x 9” This was a lot of fun to paint! I didn’t really think too much about it, just a quick watercolor color field then right into the gouache painting. I love the magical transformation sequences and the graphic cut frames in anime, and I had just finished watching Frieren which was wonderfully colored thought out.
