Recently, several tragedies have befallen earth. This has caused the surface of earth to become uninhabitable. It is only logical that the people of earth must find, at least temporary, another planet of resistance.
Mars has been chosen for this porpoise.
There are aproxomately 198,000 bases on Mars that were built about 100 years ago for the colonization of Mars, which did not happen due to the space treaty of 2348, as well as threats from the European Union. Each base can accommodate 10,000 people exactly, which is less than it sounds like.

Q: are there people alive on earth?
A: likely yes, although they would be in bunkers and contacting them is not a priority.
Q: how do I speak to the government of ____?
A: as far as we know, the former governments do not exist. At present, the authority is provisional committee #29,112.
Q: can we elect a government?
A: when the provisional committee is confident that the colony is stable, elections will be held.

A: everyone who currently has a work assignment has a red name tag with a number, their name, and their title on it in black, typed on a typewriter. The numbers are in sequence. There are no duplicates.
