I used to sit on Edgar Allan Poe’s grave in Baltimore.

This is the current stateof my battle vest! The front is completely bare, and I still need to add more to the back. (edit: this is no longer the current state, it is now done and can be found here ) Below is my plan for the future:

So after this, I need to finish making all the patches for the front of the vest and then sew them on. After that, I'm going to take some paint and try to make the vest look more mossy and nasty. then I'm going to do some more embroidery over the top and see if I can wax the vest. Finally, I'm gonna add all my various trinkets. But yeah, I'm really fucking proud of how this project is turning out! This project has cost me basically nothing because the vest is from a friend, and the rest was stuff I already had or gotten from buy-nothing groups.
