Hate Wins and Love Loses | Inhuman and Heartless

Hey everyone.

While I've been able to subsist on the generosity of friends and my father for the past year, that's become unsustainable and I will be losing my current living space at the end of July. For reasons I'm sure I don't have to explain, everyone in my family is either unable or unwilling to take me in.

I'm actively pursuing public assistance like shelters and food, but at this point, I'm ready to ask for a big enough bump to get started on driving Uber, which will take ~$500 (car rental + deposit). From there, driving for Uber will pay for itself.

Aside from that, phone service (so I can still take calls for potential jobs), storage space for my stuff, and a monthly public transit pass will run about $400/mo.

I know that I still have great things to offer any company and community I'm a part of, so I'm doing my damnedest to not give up and I'll absolutely be giving back again as soon as I'm able.

Haven't seen that many posts here that share about where to donate for the victims of the earthquake in Venezuela, here's a website that compiles a list of reliable associations where you can donate for the earthquake victims.

Basically, increased co2 concentration in the air makes plants make more carbohydrates, but not take in more nutrients from the soil, so they grow faster but have a lower density of vitamins and minerals. Plus, they're "breathing" more efficiently and actually using slightly less water, so they're taking in even fewer nutrients. And the faster growth can't make up for the rates of damage due to climate instability (droughts, floods, extreme heat etc).
