Silly I know but what the hell, I love drawing my favorite characters in funny scenarios!

Well, after drawing 88 different skeletal characters, here it is, the full series of "A Buncha Boneheads"! I was originally going to try and sell this as a poster but after looking into it, I don't think I can do that unless I want to deal with several dozen copyright laws.

This was quite the fun little exercise for me- the biggest challenge was trying to emulate the art styles of so many different series and properties. There are definitely more skull-headed characters out there that I could add, but frankly I think a nice even 88 is good enough, and there are other projects I want to work on for the future. Overall I'm pretty proud of this.

With that said, let me know if I've made a spelling mistake or something anywhere on here- I've tried my best but I just know I missed one or two somewhere.

Well this was one helluva season literally everything was freaking amazing; so amazing in fact this isn’t in any order because they all basically tied. 

So we’ll start with the first one: 

SPACE PATROL LULUCO:

I started this because it looked like a five minute per episode anime and from HackaDoll I always accept them. This was both insane and kooky but also had excellent story. Luluco’s adventure and transformation from girl who wanted to be normal to enjoying the wonders of abnormal was hilarious and great. Over Justice was amazing and I love how he is 2 Dimensional most of the time too.The fights and situations were just awesome and hilarious. I recommend this anime for everyone and if you are a fan of Trigger’s productions there are references and crossovers through out it. 

THE ASTERISK WAR PART 2:

Rather than call this Season 2, this was the second half of Season 1 that it desperately needed. I remember the first season and because it didn’t end it just went on hiatus I liked it less. For good reason this half of the season had the best fights, the best growth, and great character moments. Also throw in pretty good intrigue, politics, and some romance elements and it was a really solid season. I think Julis grew the most for me and really stepped up from the first part. I’m more interested with Claudia too. Ayato, Saya, and Kirin were all totally badass like they were in the first part too. Combining both halves The Asterisk War becomes a fantastic series. 

CONCRETE REVOLUTIO SUPERHUMAN PHANTASMAGORIA - THE LAST SONG:

Ah I was so happy when I saw the trailer for Season 2 at the end of the first season. Though Gen Urobuchi taking over writing had me worried a bit. Overall I still think it was a very powerful season. We got to see the future more that was hinted in the first season. Learn a lot about Jiro and Emi. Meet new and returning characters. Also have a huge dark finale too. Raito really grew on me this season too I thought him and Jiro were the best parts of the show. Emi was pretty awesome too. I really enjoyed Jiro’s struggles and growth this season and his history. He sacrificed a lot for what he thought was right and that’s what heroes do. Definitely a different take with Superheroes, and definitely involves politics and manipulation too. Definitely something I’d recommend if you like Superhero movies or if you want something different. Especially if you liked Civil War lol. 

KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS:

Steampunk Vs. Zombies is what I called after seeing the first PV for this. It turns out that’s exactly what it was and it was freaking awesome! It has some of the best animation, storytelling, emotional depth, and action that anime has to offer. Also lots of kickass female characters Mumei and Yukina were favorites of mine. Ikoma reminded me a lot of myself and I loved his journey and how he fought to earn his place, never giving up, and fighting to save his friend even when it seemed hopeless, he was crazy and determined. The Kabane and the whole Kabaneri idea was pretty cool, I like the idea of being a Zombie/Human hybrid thing. The train element was pretty cool and added nice elements of survival horror to this as well. I definitely recommend this. 

BUNGOU STRAY DOGS: 

I first got into this one because it said Supernatural Detectives and that was enough to sell me. I learned later it uses Japanese authors and turns them into fictionalized versions of them and uses their works for their special attacks. I enjoyed it from the first episode though it had a few issues that worked it’s way past them. This has one of the most eccentric casts of characters I’ve seen and they are all hilarious and powerful. The go really good into certain characters here and build them up really well even the villains too. Dazai was something else but I understand the whole suicide thing with him is just fictionalizing the author’s history but sometimes it goes a bit too much. Dazai is very much on the line of things you should joke about and things you are going to hell for lol. Atsushi, the main character was very fun and relatable to me from being meek at times to being serious and confident. I like that he transforms from feeling worthless to finding his own self-worth through the series. This weretiger was a badass in hiding and he shows it a lot. The action was pretty amazing here, a lot of awesome fights with lots of awesome powers. Overall this has very good worldbuilding and character development too. I am very excited for the second half in the fall here. 

MY HERO ACADEMIA: 

My Hero Academia I was seriously looking forward to when I heard about it. I love Superhero stories and this was one of the best I’ve seen lately. Izuku’s story really grabs you and All Might is seriously a magnetic personality. Izuku and All Might both were amazing characters who I love the hell out of. Ochako, Tenya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Asui, and the others were all amazing too. This is a great superhero academy anime. It has great action, great lessons, and great ways to help shape these kids into Superheroes. I love this show so much I can barely articulate my love it for it lol. I definitely recommend this to everyone. 

ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM SEASON 2/FINAL SEASON:

Ah my old friend and my gateway into all this anime. I was so excited for the return of the second season then heartbroken when I heard it was the Final Season of it. Still this season was hilarious, fun, amazing character moments, serious story elements, and overall destructive heartbreak. This was one of my absolute favorite animes ever and I am sad that it’s over but I can’t wait for the movies. Koro-Sensei is one of the best characters ever. The students are amazing Nagisa and Karma had amazing moments, Kaede I think had the most shocking revelations here too. It was great to finally learn Koro-Sensei’s history and what was really going here too. Seriously everyone needs to watch both seasons of Assassination Classroom it is truly one of the best animes ever.
