tossing a WIP onto here because it might be a while until it gets finished, and i like how it looks so far

#dynadoodles #the council speaks #based on an experience i had about april-may of last year when i first got my wheelchair #we'd gone shopping for clothes because i didn't have anything nice that fit that wouldn't snag in the wheels #and i caught a glimpse in one of the mirrors they had on one of the supports #i remember staring at my reflection and thinking to myself at the time '...wow. i never thought i'd get this far.'#sometimes i still think of that fourteen-year-old kid i used to be who never thought he'd make it to adulthood.#i would love nothing more than to hold him and tell him that it'll pass. that things'll get better in his personal life #and to tell him just how proud i am of him for making through it all.#🦊#also there's gonna be like 3 versions of this piece when it's done. the mirror version #the meet the artist version #and the other one that's not going on this blog /silly

not an official oc hour but thinking abt dawn again. putting it under a read more so my partymates don’t see it by accident on their dashboards.

something something home was a person and now he’s long dead and while your peers cheer and celebrate the death of their tormentors you’re left to sit alone and grieve. the system was built to keep you down yes but he and his were uninvolved in that and you cannot bring the innocents that were killed back. it’s been so long you cannot remember his face or voice on habit anymore, videos and pictures are all you have left, and while your friends try to comfort you most of them too did not grieve for the innocents that died for your freedom. you leave the flowers, the building you’ve lived in for centuries, aimless and tired and wanting somewhere to feel you belong, and you leave behind all you had left to achieve this. you’re tired of feeling like a ghost, like haunted machinery that still whirrs and whines for a home it can never get back.

so i did a magma with a friend after playing some outer wilds, and thought this messy doodle of my hatchy was good enough to share

#dynadoodles #Mal is very fun to draw #someone remind me to draw them in CSP later so this isn't my only drawing of them #OC: Malachite #i'm too terrified to maintag them #as friends they're very close with Hal + Riebeck. As a family of sorts they're close with Marl Moraine and occasionally Mica #i headcanon hatchlings as usually having tiny tails that get absorbed as they grow but Mal's never did shrink #also the heart on the page was drawn by the person i was drawing with :]
