Project Hail Mary has been on my reading list for about 2 years now. A friend recommended it to me (as their favorite book) and told me I reminded them of one of the characters (always a interesting thing to hear). But now that it's all over my dash it has been pulled to the front on my brain and coincidentally my sister just asked if I wanted her copy because she thought I would like the book. So I guess the stars have aligned and are saying I better read it. So expect me to join in on the commotion soon I guess

Holy shit I'm rocky. I suspected it when the jazz hands were first used. Its not like there are that many characters to choose from. But I just read chapter 12 so they've just established communication and are getting whole sentences across. The saying the word question and repeating things 3 times confirmed it for me. Being compared to a character can be an on no kind of moment but I think I'm honored to be compared to this little rock guy. I'm only half way through the book so lots of room for change but so far I'm loving it. I especially love the communication aspect

Crowley was meant to be Sam’s Cas he was meant to be Sam’s queerbait moment like he was originally meant to raise Sam from hell and it was Sam’s blood that was turning Crowley human (like Ruby’s blood was turning Sam into a demon!!) but J*red simply does not have chemistry with men so jackles was like sigh. Is anyone gonna make this friendship homoerotic? I have to do EVERYTHING around here.
