The Perfect Life

    A smile plays on the corners of his mouth as     she draws near  to  him and  a s she reaches      out  to  touch him, he lowers his  head  to  be     closer  to  her  face. The  back of his neck is     warm under her skin, hinting at the flush that     would have spread to his face had he actually     made the mistake. His hands rest idly on her     waist, unsure what else to do with them.

              ❝ Well, ‘sneaky’ is my                       middle name, after all. ❞

         The woman laughs gently as she jokes          some more with him, letting her cheeks          brighten some as his face draws nearer.          God.. He’s so handsome. So cute --          especially those reactions she gets out of          him due to her light teasing.

someone on my dash (pasteldollie) reblogged that marni corpse picture with this:

after locking his sick daughter in her room for the night

he enters this chamber

and sleeps with wall marni

i just couldn’t not draw it

    His eyes  travel  down  and… he’s zipped.     What? It’s the sound  of  Marni’s laughter     that  makes  him  realize  that  she   was      playing a joke on him—not just mistaken.     Thank goodness. He was getting ready     to be kind of embarrassed.

                      ❝ …Oh. ❞

                  Giggling softly, Marni saunters closer                   to Nathan and places her hands on his                   chest, guiding them up to his shoulders                   so her arms could then slither around                   his neck.

            ❝ What—? Oh. ❞

          The corners of Marni’s mouth curl up into           a grin as she watches him he glance down           at his pants. She releases quiet laughter           through her nose.
