So, every now and then, someone finds my blog and decides to read my legacy from the very beginning (bless them because it's LONG AF), and it makes me feel all nostalgic. It's fun (and cringy lmao) to see how much I've grown since I first decided to make a Simblr 🥹
Technically, I started with the Human Enough Challenge, but since I've been working on the Pollocks for years, and more seriously as a "Simblr" creator, it makes more sense to start with them 🫡
MAR 2022 - SEPT 2022: "The beginning: Wilde" Gen 1
I was very much a mm girly back then, and OBVIOUSLY obsessed with male sims (I mean I was still me lol). I had no idea what I was doing yet, just vibing with the gameplay and a few poses, only just starting to take the game seriously, though most of the story was still in my head.
I still remember how excited I was when Journey was born and I played all the way through his childhood. It was the first time I'd ever gotten that far into a generation... just imagine that. I still love him sm 🥹
You know how much I love to ramble about my pixels and I played A LOT so... yeah 🫠
OCT 2022 - JAN 2023 - "Some storytelling and THE Leif Pollock" Gen 2
It was during the Pollocks' second generation that I realized I could ask my mutuals for sims to spice up my game. Sebastian was a sim from an old mutual who's no longer on tumblr, and I thought, why not make this a regular thing in the legacy? And that's how Adina came along! She and Journey had a HORRIBLE relationship, and because of that I started experimenting with scenes that included dialogue (absolutely terrifying), THEN LEIF WAS BORN. Omg, my favorite pixel and also the one I hate the most 🤣
JAN 2023 - OCT 2023 💀 - "Leif, his 6 kids and collabs!" Gen 3
I still wasn't satisfied with my storytelling here, and AS YOU CAN SEE, I wasn't happy with my GShade either. but honestly, that hasn't changed to this day lmao I MADE A COLLAB WITH RORY! It was one of my favorite parts of the legacy, and it was so much fun planning a story together that we ended up doing it again in gen 4 with Renee and Jay 🥹
To this day, I have no idea how I managed to raise this pixel's six kids. I almost died with Pandora, and she only had five 💀
OCT 2023 - MAR 2024 - "My confort pixel and his love story" Gen 4
I'm ngl, my blog went from 500 followers to double that thanks to the post about Jay and Miracle running away from home 🫠 My runaway lovers are my favorite couple of all time because that was when I really started to find my style. I started making my own poses! That helped me bring the ideas in my head to life. It was my second rags to riches story after Wilde back in gen 1, with Jay and Mir starting from absolutely nothing on the ranch.
Miracle was technically my sim but also not really, because she was Lindsay's daughter! (Leif's ex) It was so much fun watching people try to figure out who she was! 🥹
APRIL 2024 - DEC 2024 - "The real mess and the real daddy 🫡" Gen 5
Who doesn't love a Cinderella story where the girl gets the prince and they live happily ever after? that's what I was aiming for when I made Hope's generation. Did I end up with that? Well... the poor girl was a spoiled rich wife, became a disastrous mother, then died and found redemption... so... maybe? 🤣 I'd say my storytelling was at its peak during Hope's generation because I knew exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it 😈 (oh yeah this is where my game started rebelling against my control and develop a mind of its own just to ruin my plans)
Another one of my most famous posts came from this generation: the one with Sterling getting out of the pool soaking wet while Hope watches him like 👀 lmfao (honestly girl same)
WE HAD STERLING, GUYS, AND PANDORA DIDN'T EXIST YET. WE WERE HAPPY AND WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT 😭
JAN 2025 - DEC 2025 (WDYM ALMOST A YEAR) - "Cops and robbers, and the death of a loser" Gen 6
Pandora and her women, Isaiah and Pandora's ex girlfriend, PHOENIX AND HIS WOMEN... so many things happened in this generation. It was incredibly fun to plan it all and to watch you guys send so many theories (and so much hate) to my characters 🥹

I have to say that my storytelling at this point is basically what it is today, and I'm really comfortable with the balance between gameplay and poses. My "style" is more maxis mix now, and I like it. I also learned how to use Relight and got better at Photoshop 😭 I've grown, and I think that shows in my posts 🥲
I still think Pandora is a loser for dying before she got old though
DEC 2025 - PRESENT - "The melancholic boy who sees ghosts" Gen 7
I wanted to add something new to my posts now that I have a better pc, so I decided to learn how to make gifs 🥲. I still need to improve, but with all the kind souls on tumblr posting new tutorials every day, I'm sure I'll get there!
(And I need to stick with just one gshade, but I don't think that's happening lmao)

Brandon: I’ll probably grab something at work, there’s a lot of backlog I need to take care of and they don’t mind doing room service downstairs for me

Brandon: *nods* Just use the delivery app to get groceries, they’re normally able to do same day delivery for larger orders. I’ll give you the credit card and account info, there’s really not a limit on what we can spend on food

Delilah: No! No. I mean for Isaac. If his wardrobe reflects his current outfit... well babies do better in environments with colour
Brandon: Sure, buy him whatever you want. The number for our car service is on the fridge, or if you want to take him shopping one morning I can give you two a lift into the city centre
Delilah: Has he had all his vaccinations?
Brandon: They gave him a bunch a couple of weeks ago? We probably need to get him registered at the doctors here for his three month ones

Brandon led me back down the hall and into a room just before the staircase. It was small but was connected to an alcove that housed a crib.
Brandon: So this is your room. Through the door there is a large bathroom. The basic furniture has been ordered and when I let mother know you have the job she’ll organise a tank for your lobster
I was only half paying attention to him. I was drawn towards the crib, wanting to see the boy inside.
Brandon: And this is my son, Isaac
Delilah: *smiles* Not Brandon McWilliams the fourth?
Brandon: *laughs* I don’t think I’ll be able to curse any kids I have with the name really. I’ll leave it for a grandson
