look, you donāt have to take anything i say in that little blurb above into consideration when it comes to making him, nor do you have to feel like you have to somehow create a character from the images i used in the moodboard. itās just sort of how iām presently picturing him -- how genie is presently picturing him, and probably pictured him prior to actually having met him, so you can roll with whatever you see fit since she still probably doesnāt know much about him at this point in time (i figure this is still a very fresh, new development in which these two have yet to even have any proper one-on-one time with each other and without their parents/guardians/whatever).Ā
at any rate, for some reason genieās parents (more specifically her mother) have decided itās high time she gets married, and have teamed up with this guyās parents or guardians or even just their boss, to throw these two together. because reasons. thatās basically the answer genie gets anytime she ever even tries to ask why in the hell an arranged marriage is going to do anything to better the family or oros in any way whatsoever.
iāve still got no idea what it is that her parents do beyond having relatively close ties to the government/politics in general, but i would assume whoeverās got him doing this is also in the same boat. genie is nothing if not obedient and will do as sheās asked without question, and he could be the same way, or doing it because of blackmail or because he actually does know why they have to get married and he agrees to theĀ āmission.ā i see him as a soldier-type, just very quiet and maybe a little broody but could also very easily kill you with his pinky toe (mostly to balance out genieās head in the clouds and up her ass attitude where everything is peachy keen in the world), but again, do what you want. if you have someone kicking around already, by all means, volunteer them for this! iām not picky. age isnāt a big deal to me either in this case, because i know it wouldnāt be for her mother even if it sort of would be for genie herself. (for reference, sheās roughly 23~ years old.)
basically, this is really open and iām more than happy to hash this out with you and help us create this entire mess together? i donāt imagine thereās much in regards to feelings between these two, given that theyāre total strangers to each other and what have you (unless you want to go a route where he does actually know her, even though she doesnāt know/recognize him and have some peeta mellark-esque vibes here, which could make things interesting more complicated in that case? or he could know her and hate her too, whatever floats your boat).
