obscure side character enjoyer

I think about Everette a Lot. Me and a friend spoke of a silly little roleplay where he enters a new dimension called the Otherworld. It's a magical place where everything sort of melts together in the corner of your eye, like when you're in a dream and you can't quite tell apart the things around you. There he meets my chud OC who is sort of. Omnipresent in a way? And like. Instead of greeting Everette like a normal person, he manifests through stars flickering, moss growing beneath his feet, and particularly, wither rose stems curling around his hands

Idk the thought of Everette fitting perfectly amongst the weirdness of the Otherworld like a missing puzzle piece is very dear to me

The caption came to me while drawing him and listening to Sweater Weather. Completely different context for the phrase, of course. But a part of me will forever want to shield him from the cold
