Okay, so many months ago I made a steddie playlist on Spotify. And I really love this playlist and I thought y’all might love it too. But really what I’m here for is SUGGESTIONS. It’s a 4 hours long playlist and I’d like to get it to around 8 hours (to make it though a shift at work).
The playlist is mostly 80s power ballads and I would like to keep it mostly 80s but I do have some more modern stuff on there. I also have some songs that are just for Eddie or just for Steve. And some are just songs that I think they would like rather than songs I feel fit them. So there is no strict theme. I just wanna hear some suggestions and why you think it would be a good fit 😇
Or if you just wanna say you like my taste in music. Always happy to hear that
Eddie writes silly little ditties and funny limericks for and about Steve while they’re just laying around Eddie’s room and he’s messing around on his guitar.
He’s written Steve serious, gut wrenching love ballads and Steve loves them with all the love that he has in him but the short silly little songs about how he has bed head and the legends of Steve “The Hair” Harrington are not to be trusted or about how Steve uses his E-Break even when parked on flat surfaces or how they saw a cute frog while on a walk in the woods earlier that morning make Steve smile and giggle like the sun and so obviously Eddie never stops, just because the way Steve lights up makes his heart swell.

I see a lot of post on here about Steve dabbling into Eddie’s hobbies and picking up his taste in music. Which is all great. Excellent. Super awesome I love it. But where is the Eddie getting into Steve’s interests? I want Eddie and Steve at a Super Bowl party and Eddie is so into it and Steve is so smitten with him. It starts out as Steve convincing him to watch sports because “eddie you clearly like to ogle jocks” and eventually he’s all about it.
And I want Steve expanding Eddie’s taste in music because “if you only enjoy one genre of something eddie, then you have bad taste in that something.” And Eddie is obviously throughly offended that anyone could ever dare to even think to allude to him having bad taste in music that he makes it his mission to learn all Steve’s faves and that’s how they end up at a Willie Nelson concert and eddie is decked out in black fringe and black studded cowboy hat, wearing a bolo tie and he’s loudly and proudly singing along to every song and Steve is just absolutely swooning.
I JUST THINK IT WOULD BE NEAT IS ALL IM SAYING
