Cinnamontail is a brown tabby she-cat with white paws.

Doestar is a pale cream, fawn, and white she-cat with amber eyes.

“This is Mist Where Sunlight Shimmers. She is one of our best prey-hunters.”

Mist Where Sunlight Shimmers is a she-cat.

“You’ve met those cats in the gorge, right? I bet they let you think they were SkyClan, but they’re not. They’re vicious rogues who attacked the real SkyClan and took our territory for themselves.”

Mistfeather is a mangy, ragged, and skinny gray tom with amber eyes.

“We’ll make a leader of you yet, Pinepaw. Just wait and see.”

Mistpelt is a thick-furred pale gray she-cat with green eyes.

“I know you have no choice. If this is StarClan’s wish, then I’m happy to go. […] Don’t be sad, we’ll be fine.”

Honey Pelt is a short-furred, striped yellow tom with green eyes.

“I’ll always be grateful for what you did, but I’m a RiverClan cat at heart. […] I protect my own Clan, no other.”

Mistystar is a pale blue-gray she-cat with a pink nose and ice-blue eyes.

“[Mittens, you] listen to your belly when it’s hungry and your throat when it’s thirsty. Why not be guided by your heart when it speaks to you?”

Mittens is a tabby tom.

“They…they took my son. Those monsters from BloodClan. They just took him one night, and I haven’t seen him since. I followed them, followed his scent, but I didn’t dare get close. They’re recruiting a new BloodClan now, with new leadership.”

Mitzi is a reddish-brown and white she-cat with a pointed face, and yellow eyes. Her fur has lighter and darker patches of color.

“None of us had abandoned the Tribe. Some of us still have faith that it will survive.”

Cloud With Storm in Belly is a skinny white she-cat.

Second readthrough and I think that it worked a lot better! Redtail is easily manipulated by Tigerclaw because Tigerclaw is a good warrior. He’s looked up to for his hunting and battle skills. Redtail wants to be a good warrior too.

I didn’t really like the first 3 chapters. Like I said the pacing is jumpy, but you can’t cut out these chapters. They are the set up for the rest of the book. It works well as a follow-up to Bluestar’s Prophecy. Stagleap is best boy. I love him.

Redtail’s Debt deserves 8 out of 10 patrols at Sunningrocks.

Old Ravenpaw and Barley travel to SkyClan to give them two new apprentices. Pretty straight forward. 

The villains were laughable. Can’t believe that the problem that plagued a whole clan of warriors can be solved by one dude (a loner who hasn’t marked clan borders in years.)

The ending made me almost cry. I knew it was going to happen, but that didn’t make it easier. Very bittersweet, Ravenpaw I love you.

The book starts out immediately after the battle! Finding Sorreltail’s body broke my heart bro!!!! This is rough. And when Purdy wanted Mousefur buried to see the lake? Actual tears in my eyes.

Breezepelt should’ve been exiled. Just saying. Molepaw and Cherrypaw should’ve been punished more for attempted murder, too.

Another solid read. Tied up the loose ends after the battle, but makes Crowfeather’s Trial redundant. I thought the last chapter could’ve gone unsaid, but it was a nice way for Midnight and Rock to appear one last time.
