Addendum: I hate vanishing for no reason but I’ve been in and out of a weird mental state that’s been making it tough to do anything for this project for a while- I never see anything but sweet comments when I have to take breaks from this comic so I know I don’t necessarily need to apologize, but I like to mention it when I do just so no one thinks I died or anything, LOL. I’ll be back, I’m just enforcing a bit of a break (indefinite, but God willing not too long) in order to ensure that my work on DungeonScum is being done by someone who’s actually happy with the work he’s doing, for the quality of the comic as well as my personal mental health. In the interim I may post up a bit of a “preview” as to what is next for the story as I have actually outlined the next couple chapters and plotted the whole thing out to the end… so look forward to that… at some point! Tchüß!!

Here’s something just to shake off the cobwebs. He hasn’t shown up in a little while, but Captain Leblanc is one of my favorite supporting characters. Some facts: He wears long sleeves and gloves at work because he has an unprofessional amount of tattoos. He’s ostensibly celibate, a teetotaler, and appears to have zero vices, but he does smoke. He’s never been able to grow a beard, so he’s jealously committed to his sideburns. He’s in his fifties and he still looks great.

Planning to take a week or two off to focus on school but here’s some stupid shit I drew during the last hiatus.

A few days early, but it’s a Valentine’s comic. Previous strips have served to establish that Zig is chronically single, but a 6′7″ mace wielding butch hunk who refuses to kill is not, like, an abjectly undateable type of person, eh

Nothing new this week, I’ve been pretty busy. So here’s some very old art because I think it’s interesting; the protagonists’ first-ever designs, and my first-ever finished drawing of their current ones. Blue had actually had an even older design, but it wasn’t that different from the one up top. I’ve even adjusted and simplified aspects of the latter designs over the year or so I’ve been doing comics about them because I was simply forgetting to draw them and figured they were superfluous. I believe they were originally a cleric, rogue and barbarian, but I decided to make the party comp worse for no reason
