RANT At any point, Tumblr ( @staff ) could have created a department tasked with judging the value of posts.  Is this hate? (take it down, ban the user, the IP…) Is this misogyny? (take it down, ban the user, the IP…) Is this expression, adults having a conversation about sex? (let it be…social media should be about more than mining personal information and selling it. Social media should be a wide ranging conversation - a global community that defines its own standards…if you don’t meet those standards, you don’t get reblogs and follows…you Tumblr-die, get bored, move on…) PLEASE! @staff stop using the term; Community Standards. These are not our standards - look at our follows/followers and influencers - those are our Community Standards. The term as you are using it is Orwellian. Tumblr let itself become the thing it has now banned. They could have done something - they didn’t.
