I gave in. So I still wanted to keep the moth aspect and I also wanna give her clothes that give more hints at her ethnicity. So I decided to make her Mexican since right now nothing tells me she’s Salvadorian. In Mexico we have a popular moth called the Black Witch moth. It only flies at night and it’s basically the goth moth. Perfect, she’s already a pastel goth, let’s dump the pastel and just stick to goth. Traditional Mexican girls clothes are pretty festive and always have tons of lace on them, so I tried to use that but making her look modern and professional at the same time. Pardon me but I totally believe Vaggie should be the one in a blazer or suit. She’s clearly the more mature one. So here’s the final result, enjoy.

I've already tried to redesign her because that's how much spite there is in my tiny body.

Now at first I tried to just work with her original design. I wanted to keep some of the original tropes and use the same colors. I wanted to know if the design was salvageable. Long story short, it wasn't. Her colors clash and her design is overall ugly. Even if I tried to calm her design down it was still ugly. A terrible Melanie Martinez mess. [Let's not kid ourselves that was clearly her inspiration. Childish look and hairstyle-]

However as I continued to work with her, the less she looked like Melanie and more like a clown. It was mainly the face and make-up. That's what what I went with, a clown villain.

Switched out the pinks and white for green and orange. She now has four pigtails, and it is still multi-colored but now it's tasteful. Switched her sleeves for classic toon gloves and gave her a clown nose. I think she looks cleaner and more easy on the eyes this way. .... Also her pigtails are in the right places omfg-

Even if it monotone it, it still looks bad. It's just an overall bad design that's unpleasant to look at.
