David furrowed his brow; despite her dramatic claim of never moving again, he was set on getting her to wash up. Even if he had to do it himself. Pulling up his sweatpants, he started on over to her bedside, pulling the covers off of her swiftly. They billowed as he let go, and crumpled on the floor at the foot of her bed. “Then I guess we’re gonna have to do this the hard way,” he announced, scooping her up.

When he got back into the bathroom, he let her legs go so she could stand. As he turned to grab the bath bomb, he asked: “Are you gonna make me undress you, too? Or are we gonna do this the easy way?”

once she could stand on her own two feet again ( post- a yelp of dissent when the air of the room hit her ) having stared at him reproachfully during the short journey, amber picked at the fluff of her pyjamas. her arms crossed over her chest for a moment before she turned to watch the gently rising steam from the bath. she’d been feeling a little sore, a little sick, so perhaps the bath would help chase away those issues. 

amelia: of course i will sweetie

amelia: How are you doing?

amber: i think i'm going to visit alessandra next week so that's nice!

Alessandra: I want to make it clear that I'm good friends with Floraigh, too. I don't want to take sides. But I do realize that what she did wasn't at all appropriate.

Alessandra: But of course I'll always have your back.

Alessandra: I'll clear it just for you. Is next week too soon?

Amber: next week's fine

Alessandra: Ah, that makes sense, I suppose.

Alessandra: It's a shame, though. I missed you.

Alessandra: I'm sorry that entire ordeal happened — I could only catch snippets from the chat, but it's truly another magnitude of terrible that someone so close to you would do something so soul-crushing.

Alessandra: Please let me know if there's anything I can do to make your day a little bit brighter.

Amber: honestly hearing from you is always nice

tea or coffee? how do they take it? tea, come on now. she’s british, not a heathen. she drinks it with little enough milk that it doesn’t look like what she’d call ‘piss-water’ ( the fellow brits know what she means, when it’s barely tea at all ) and enough sugar to taste it but not so much that she might as well just be gulping caramel. does that make sense?

is she an early riser or a late sleeper? a late sleeper, but that’s often because she goes to bed as the sun rises. big mood, amber. however, she also can just be incredibly lazy. it’s the benefits of being rich enough to never have to do a real job.

what’s the longest time she’s stayed awake for? eight days. she decided it’d be fun to try and see what happened to the russian sleep experiment people, and enlisted a couple of her friends to help. eventually, though, they just all hit the floor.
