Em là bông hồng nhỏ là một bài hát thiếu nhi do nhạc sỹ Trịnh Công Sơn sáng tác. Là một trong những nhạc sỹ lớn nhất của tân nhạc Việt Nam, ông được biết đến với rất nhiều bài tình ca bất hủ ghi dấu ấn lên nhiều thế hệ người Việt Nam. Trịnh Công Sơn cũng là tác giả của những bài ca phản chiến, các buổi trình diễn và các ghi âm trong và ngoài nước với thông điệp ước mong hòa bình. Bài hát 'Em là bông hồng nhỏ' là một sáng tác sau năm 1975 của ông và cũng là một khác biệt so với các khuynh hướng sáng tác trước đó của nhạc sỹ. Bài hát viết về thiếu nhi với màu sắc và ca từ tràn ngập những bông hoa hồng. 'Em là bông hồng nhỏ' cũng là bài hát chủ đề của bộ phim 'Cho những ngày mai' ra đời năm 1981.

Sữa đặc có đường Ông Thọ (Ông Thọ sweetened condensed milk) is a famous condensed milk brand in Vietnam.

Before 1975, the multinational company Friesland Foods owned the brand in South Vietnam with the name Longevity and an elderly man who holds the fairy peach (deity Shou). The company unofficially translated the name Ông Thọ milk to make it easier for Vietnamese customers. After 1975, the brand was collectivized under management of Vinamilk. Since 1975 till 1990, Vinamilk keeps producing the product with the brand name Ông Thọ. When Friesland Foods company started their business back in Vietnam, in 2002 they had sued Vinamilk for taking the product identity along with the brand name. Foremost finally won the trial and reproduced the product under name of Longevity, which made Ông Thọ brand even more popular among Vietnamese customers when they think that Friesland Foods' Shou deity is just an imitation of Vinamilk's Ông Thọ.

Kem Thuỷ Tạ (Thuỷ Tạ Ice cream Company) in Hà Nội which was originally Thuỷ Tạ Restaurant established in May 1958. In October 1954, when Ministry of Industry and Trade was taken in charge by the government, Kem Thuỷ Tạ became public ownership. In the same year, the Ministry of Internal Trade decided to form the Thuỷ Tạ National shop of Food and Drinks. Since then Thuỷ Tạ keeps changing with time. In 1993, Thuỷ Tạ Restaurant was formed under management of Thuỷ Tạ Company by decision of Hanoi People's Committee. In the end of 2005 along with market oriented economy change, Thuy Ta was gradually equitizated until finally became Thuy Ta Join-stock Company in 2006.

Flowers as found in 'Where have all the flowers gone' song listed as one of top 20 influencing political songs is a song by Pete Seeger. The song's lyric is inspired by Mikhail Sholokhov's novel The Quite Flows the Don and with the three lines of the songs from an Ukrainian folk song. 'Where are the flowers, the girls have plucked them. Where are the girls, they've all taken husbands. Where are the men, they're all in the army.'.The song is listed as anti-war song in the era of 1960s.

With the compose of neon light of flowers writing in rose color, the work brings the mood of peaceful light to the existence of flowers while in the background, the music and the lyric of 'Where have all the flowers gone?' keeps repeatedly played asking the question of physical plus virtual concept of peace.

“Spring Watching Pavilion presents the first major exhibition of contemporary Vietnamese art in Ireland. 2015 marks the 40 anniversary of  the ‘Fall of Saigon’ and the end of the Vietnam war.

Spring Watching Pavilion exhibits the work of 14 artists who mostly work in lens based media and participatory/socially engaged practices. The works presented are dynamic, engaging yet poetic and  nuanced in their reflection on the richness and complexity of contemporary Vietnamese life.

An old board was found in a small street among a working class neighborhood not far from the HCMC center. The board provides informations as a map with place names locate in Jérusalem and Palestine. The double sided board map with one side of Jerusalem and the other side of Palestine at the time with Jesus. With informations that is vague yet surprising it looks like one which was pulled out from an archive or textbook collection. The location names writen on the map are a mixture of Vietnamese, French and Latin. The map of a distant region now is used as the border wall between two street food stalls in the crowded neighborhood: a sugar cane juice cart and piper lolot beef barbecue shop.
