Dexter, like his father, represents a part of the Halloween holiday. But he represents the darker side. The side that mortals cower in fear from and warn their children about.
You see, Dexter has these dark urges that he canât ignore. They tell him to maim, kill, and strike fear into the hearts of others. However, being the son of the lighthearted Pumpkin King, Dexter is terrified of what would happen if he allowed his darker side to take control.
