Tried Poke in the past, tried the new Greetings buttons. Not really excited. Poke was intended as a conversation starter. So are the new buttons. Poke never really worked, people were confused what it’s meaning and I think that we’ll see the same with all these new greetings. Social networks should make the conversation easy. Emojis and emoticons are fun and add their value, but Facebook should work on other aspects of the communication process, because that one will fail.
