I think many people should appreciate the restraint Severus Snape shows throughout the whole saga because, honestly, if I had to face people who bullied me to the point of nearly killing me years later—and was literally forced to look them in the eye, endure their nonsense, and even collaborate with them civilly—I certainly wouldn’t have acted with that much self-control. I probably would have poisoned them by the second day with cyanide, hemlock, or simply shoved them in front of a double-decker bus. I really admire him as a person; he’s got some serious cold blood.
