- Started the night with a guy that didn't want to walk a half mile to work so I drove 5miles to pick him up and take him. Those ones are frustrating.

- Next was a girl involved in Immigration where we had an interesting discussion on what the next few years are like. She, as a liberal, did confirm that Obama has actually made her job much worse then Bush did and is hopeful that Trump might not actually do much harm to letting people in. 

- Tonight ended up going all over the place. From beacon Hill to Seattle to Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue, again to Seattle and back to REdmond and then Bellevue and then down to Newcastle and Renton so I decided to just stay put there rather then go back up to Seattle. 

- Picked up my first person that I was worried was going to puke in the car. Thankfully she didn't but I drove as smooth as possible. 

- Talked with a girl that had been home knitting with her oder neighbor that had then decided to go to bed but told the girl that she needed to get out and live together. So I was picking her up at 11 so she could go to a show. Just another reason that I love Seattle. 

- Another dude had come up here from Miami for a job interview and we talked a bunch about the pros and cons of the PNW area vs. South Beach. I tried to help sell him on the benefits of here

- One girl referred to me as the GQ driver...something that I prefer over Uber or Lyft driver lol. 

- Had 2 different rides cancel on me tonight after I had waited for awhile on them. That's frustrating but Lyft does reimburse you for some of the time so it doesn't end up being to bad. 

- Funniest part of the night was the group of 3 that I was taking to a wedding reception. They were going on and on about how much fun they were going to have, how much gossip they were going to get etc. etc. They seemed like a pretty cool group actually. Then they explained that the wedding had only been announced a couple weeks ago. I asked if the bride was going to be drinking alcohol...and they thought that was an amazing observation. It seemed obvious to me  that a wedding that fast would mean something like that.

Traffic sucked and that’s annoying. 

- Picked up a girl that thought ridesharing would be faster then the bus, she came to realize that the commute from Georgetown to Pikes Place Market takes a lot longer at 430 at night rather then at 530 in the morning. 

- Stayed sitting in traffic for 30 some minutes in downtown Seattle before deciding that it wasn’t worth it. 

- Had 3 riders cancel. Probably because the app tells them I’m 2-3min away and with traffic it’s more like 10 and I’m just sitting there stuck. 

- Picked up a girl for a 1mile ride that took 15min...yes walking would’ve been faster but she was cool about it. Decided to stay out of downtown after that. 

- Picked up a student from Hong Kong who thinks Seattle is a very sparse city. 

- Picked up 3 girls that kept whispering with each other and then one girl was having the others put their fingers onto her phone so they could access it...who does that?!?

- Picked up a guy that is thinking about investing in Bellevue. He’s from San Francisco and has been to Seattle a lot but it was pretty obvious that he’s not real clear on his strategy. 

- Picked up a lady from her work party...who then tried to get my advice on whether she should go to another bar to hit on a co-worker or whether that was gonna make her look like a stalker. I told her that since he had given her the time and place of where he was hanging out that wasn’t stalking. It was a funny conversation. My guess is she did end up going back out later because she really wanted too. 

- Picked up a teacher and over the ride found out he was a legit real estate investor from since 2000. The difference between him and the guy earlier was pretty funny. I realized he was really legit when he mentioned a property that his group had just sold that they had purchased in 2009...right after the RE crash in this area. 

- Had a super awkward high-five with a dude that had me drive him from the game up to a bar near his house. He said I was a bad-ass driver because I knocked his 15min drive down to 12 even with the map throwing a weird route.

- Great conversation with a guy that looked like he was 16 but was actually a computer programmer and doing pretty well for himself. 

- Picked up 3 dudes and took them a half mile to a McDonalds...which was closed but they still got out anyway and though I stayed in the area a bit I didn’t get called back.
