I’m doing alright and Edwin is upstairs in his office doing some paperwork and probably relaxing after everything that’s happened.” Reed interrupted, very aware of the tangents Perkins could go on. “I know that Molly has stopped by here since the trial to offer apologies for what happened. She’s still a little…off for my tastes but I think everything is getting somewhat better.”

“Good evening Perkins.” Edwin stood at the top of the steps, lacking his usual suit jacket but still wearing a button-up shirt. “Pleased to hear you’re still in the land of the living. I received a notification about the Hunt in regards to Nicholas but it seems he’s already made himself scarce. Why he’d leave his ghoul behind is a mystery, however.” The vampire made his way down the stairs as he spoke. Edwin was in a much better mood since everything was finally wrapped up and he could go back to not worrying about being hunted.

“I assume you wanted to have a bit of a chat before heading back home?” Edwin leaned against the railing at the base of the steps, arms crossed.

He made a circle with his hands “I mean she was being control for most of her time being ghouled under him.” his smile faltered at that of course as it still left such a strong bitter taste in his mouth. TO think someone could do that to another...just make them a puppet to your whims while completely obstructing their sense of self.

Of course...he’s been on the other side of dominate before ever so breifly earlier this day. It was a cold feeling, your body is there, your thoughts are there but they don’t connect. No matter how hard you yelled no matter how hard you wanted not to do that but of course maybe Molly had not even that.

There was a silence that fell before Edwin broke it as he entered “Oh, Edwin!” he exclaimed before squinting at the ventrue. Perkins smiled a bit before he made a line with pressed lips “Hunt?” he repeated.

“Wait they didn’t just apprehend him!!?“ he couldn’t hold that surprise back when Edwin continued on as if it was no really important. “EDwIIIIIIn!” he whined before quieting down listening to what else he said.

Man, he was happy to see Edwin for once with some LIFE in his undead eyes but HOO BOY.

Was she waiting for the bus? Pfff of course not! Lilli can’t even remember the last time she actually took the bus. It was easier when she just used her magic to get to places… And it was cheaper. The mage actually just sat there at the busstop to take a moment to look at her phone, probably texting someone back. And then this guy came literally race towards the bus that had already closed it’s doors, and started to depart. She just watched Perkins, slightly amused, when he called after the bus. Well, poor guy, she guessed.

For a moment her eyes went back to her phone, and continued to tip away a reply to some message, before senging it. Just then she looked at the newcomer as he approached her, and spoke.

“ Uhm… Actually no. I didn’t. I’m just here because I enjoy to vatch people run after a bus, and not reaching it in time~ “

Lilli joked, and smirked at him. Though she made it obvious that she wasn’t serious. As funny as it was, it probably was still shitty that he missed that bus. But another one will come… probably… even if it would take some time. She could offer him to give him a ride, her motorbike wasn’t that far after all. But… giving some stranger a ride? Probably wasn’t the best idea. Eh, she will decide in a moment.

“ Nah, I’m just kidding. I just took a break here, doing some texting and stuff. “

She spoke, and smiled at Perkins, just to eye him for a second. Eh, he didn’t looked that dangerous, and huh. Why not offer him a ride? It’s not like she had anything better to do.

“ You know, if you need to go to some place I can give you a ride. My bike is just around the corner. Eh, just if you vant zhough. “

Man, didn’t his mom say something about this?? what was it again..Oh yeah! Don’t trust strangers but then again, he never listened to that. He gave a genuine laugh at the strangers joke, seeming like he recovered quite quickly from the event. Even if it was going to take in what Perkins mind registered as five hundred years it wasn’t too long. “I’ve been the person on the bus plenty of times but never have I been the one bamboozled on the street.” he gave a chuckle. He first gave a smile back then a moment of confusion before surprise “ah! nah, nah I’m fine! I mean it’s not too bad of a wait and I mean...” he thought for a moment. Right he was going to call Andrew tonight and ask how he was doing, New York was still...a mess after all.  But Andrew could wait obviously as it wasn’t urgent and he probably was still on nightmare shift anyways.

“I don’t exactly have anything I’m doing anyways! So I don’t really mind just sitting here and I mean, you’re here too--” He paused for a moment. “I mean unless you’re also going somewhere and also mind the fact of company. I don’t mind just chilling here and talkin.” he gave a shrug.

“But I’ll have to warn you...” he ominously put before lowering his head “Some people have told me I--” he pushes up his glasses with a wide grin “talk way too much.”

The young adult found himself at very familiar black gates, pressing an intercome button. “Heeeeeeeeeeyoooo~” was the high pitched greeting he gave and on the other end it crackled to life with a “Oh hello Perkins, give me a second...” The gates opened very slowly in front of him after a few minutes and without hesitation he went in. Hand quickly turning the doorknob as if he’d been here before many, many times.

He gave a wave of the hand over to the familiar face of Reed “Eyo! How are you doing today Reed? Cuz I’m feeling FAAAAAAAANTastic! Well, anythings fantastic after that whole trial business! Misha is super scary...BUT thankfully she had a heart after all in the court case.”
