It’s been a great spring in the Long’s cirque. Been up here 5 of the last 9 weeks. It went from full winter to full summer in a week. Pretty wild.

Ready for it to be cold again, but not passing up these warm days

This is the first time visiting St. Louis that hasn’t been a stress on me. Ran at Castlewood state park today, one of the two og regular’s. It was damp, so the smell of the woods was accentuated and it brought back all sorts of memories. Then I started noticing how the trails were nearly identical to a decade ago. It was nice to realize that it’s me that has changed since I was a conflicted, young runner. I’ve grown and healed from some stuff that I thought would be never ending. I’ve been sitting in some seemingly never ending grief. Today was a nice reminder that life will continue and change. Thankful for what I’ve had.

Spent a few days in the Creek. Hadn’t been in almost two years. Was so great to return. ❤️

My buddy, Dan, ran Run Rabbit Run 100 miler this weekend. I crewed and paced. Due to our lack of understanding on how to get pacers out to aid stations, I just did the last 32 miles with him. Really fun weekend.
