Brings me to a sweet and gentle sleep

I saw you in my dreams

You called me and i cried

I needed some relief

“I’ve just been going through so much” I said

The movie in my mind fastfowards to seeing you again

I imagined your embrace

You kissed me in the walmart parking lot

I missed you and your stupid blue button up

I awake in the middle of the night to a dead phone and the lonely reality i’m left with.

Why do i push everyone away?

I don’t think I’m meant to be with anyone.

I don’t think I can handle it

I wish I never said what I did.

I’m looking for pieces of you and everyone i ever knew in everyone new

Do you think you’d return the favor if I really came to see you?

London sounds so different from here, and I’ve never been on that side of the world.

I need a reason to get out of here before it’s too late.

Why can’t i live in the present?

I’m always stuck in the past and simultaneously longing for a future that most likely will never exist
