Movie nights are a great way to get your mind off of things and just to relax. Who would’ve thought, huh? Yeah, I’ve actually been trying to avoid the clubs lately. 

Well, avoidin' the clubs is probably a good plan in New Orleans. From what I remember, it's all a bunch of boisterous drunken fights and-slash-or drag queens flashing everyone. Which, you know, can be fun in small doses, but... movie nights are safer. What do you feel like watchin', honey?

I don't, really, but thank you. Yeah... yeah, me too, mostly. Things are weird all around.

Flashback scenes are usually the best scenes. I don’t know much about olden day fashion, but I know enough to agree with you about all of that. It’s nice to see the progression of clothes, where old things go out of style then end up coming back later in more modern times. It’s really pretty and definitely not something I’d have been able to do. You really should be proud.

You should tell that to the lead actors. Most of them seem to think their scenes are the only ones in the film. Or at least the only ones that matter. Yeah, definitely, I'm glad you get it. Fashion in general is so cyclical, it's fun to play with. ...Thanks. What are you up to tonight?

Okay. Thanks, honey. Yeah, actually, and they're doin' flashback scenes tonight, and I just really love the 1800s for fashion, because it varied so much, especially with the French Revolution, and the Civil War, and both of those things hit New Orleans hard, and Creole culture was mixin' things up, and... okay, sorry, anyway, how gorgeous did this Marie Laveau costume turn out? I'm kinda proud of it.

I mean, movie nights usually tend to help take my mind off of things. Or anything really. I’m pretty much a lone wolf by the time we wrap up filming for the day.
