Playing the game and buying merch through the official website is how she gets her money so if we all band together as a community and stop doing that we can get her to address the situation sooner.

I don't have X, which is where most of the information is but I've been updated by friends who are also part of the fandom.

Please don't harass people for making content of the game. The game is still good. The characters are still good. There are people who put genuine effort and care into the game who don't deserve to be harassed just because they work with Qwel. There are people who still enjoy Dandy's World and don't support Qwel.

I’m going to see what happens and decide what to do next- whether that be more evidence coming out, a response made, both, etc..we’ll see. To start I’m not going to financially support Blushcrunch in anyway by buying merch and I don’t think I’ll be playing the game either. I’ve come to love the world of the game and its characters a lot, and I’d love to still be able to draw them and engage with the community, but i may pause doing that for a day or two while I gather my thoughts and learn more.

First, I want to apologize to you, I should have told you about this when I first found out, but my own nerves and processing have gotten in the way of that. This isn’t a post I want to make, but I know a lot of you come here for your dandy’s world news, and it’s my responsibility to keep you updated on things like this.

There is sufficient evidence Qwel was aware of Rox being a groomer as easily as 2021, and the both of them have been grooming and manipulating their staff.

As of yet, Qwel has yet to make a statement or even acknowledge what’s happening, but considering she has a habit of trying to ignore hints that reflect badly on her, I’m sure her suddenly going MIA isn’t a coincidence.

I know it’s a lot to process and I’m sure you feel powerless, but let’s start with what we can do.

1. Start putting pressure on Qwel. The comments for the YouTube channel and TikTok comments are still open. Let her know that she needs to acknowledge what’s happening. That being said, no insults, no threats, nothing like that. Not because she needs to be treated gently, but I know people like her, and behavior like that is only going to make her feel like what she’s doing now is justified

2. No financially supporting the game. That means no buying game passes, no merch, no ichor. If she won’t act like she cares about the fanbase, then we gotta start hitting her where it hurts, her wallet.

3. Do what you can to support the victims. Obviously you shouldn’t push yourself beyond what you can handle, but believe what they say, spread the word around. It takes a lot of courage to speak out, and we need to show up when they do.

From what I can tell the victims, at least Joji, are fine with people still engaging with the community and making fan content, as long as it doesn’t financially support Qwel. I don’t know what that means for you, I can’t decide that for you, and I don’t want to. But I can’t in good conscience pretend nothing is happening and not at least try to use whatever power I have to sway folks away from buying things in game.

What does that mean for this blog? I don’t know. I’d like to keep updating the board, but I worry at this point it would be more of an advertisement for the game itself. You guys might me see more of my general nonsense and of my plush, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Finally, and this is very important. A lot of people are going to tell you otherwise a lot, and it’s going to feel true, but you’re not a bad person for having complex thoughts on a complex problem. You’re not a bad person for worrying about what’s going to happen to something you emotionally connected to. You’re not a bad person for being afraid of losing something that means a lot to you.

Mainly refer to the characters as their human names instead of their toon names (example: "Buchi" instead of "Boxten"), I'll provide a list of every human name sometime soon

Change the names of all the staff

Change the name "Blushcrunch High School" into something else, along with the school's logo

Tweak the designs of some characters I believe look too close to canon (example: Vee and Astro)

Allow myself to implement more original characters into the story

Wanting spoilers, do we? Well, you'll have to watch- or read- and see.

Though... The mains I've seen through Astro's eyes, Dandy is one who needs to learn what manipulation is, shelly just needs better friends that don't forget her, sprout. . . needs to learn to read a baking recipe, vee . . while she's visually familiar, I think she needs to be aware that minor system updates to keep up with the times is required, though i can't really understand her situation.

Dandy, shelly, vee, sprout... Who else... Oh yeah, pebble.

Pebble is cute, I guess. I prefer the wild asteroids.

And yeah I agree with both your points on Shelly and Sprout. Tho in Sprout's defense, breaking free of his pre-programmed personality even slightly is hard. With Vee, I think it’s because she didn’t like things without her consent. Maybe even worried how the update would change her personality in some way shape or form.

as of writing, senator blackburn is beyond desperate, and is reaching to house energy, and commerce committee now to reach a deal with the house to pass kosa, as well as the No Fakes Act, and multiple age verification laws.
