communication is extremely important to meΒ in roleplay- as most of my interactions are pretty plot dependent. but please, real life comes first and isΒ alwaysΒ first. separating rp, and real life is very important to me, and i respect that many of my mutuals have stuff going on.

if you want to ship? tell me. i will never assume, or default to shipping with people. of course i practice the same, and like to make it very clear i want to explore a particular dynamic. if things wont work then that's fine! but i need clarity when it comes to stuff like that. i really go 0 - 100 on shipping, and LOVE development, and plotting.

so ive been ,,, talking some. and i realize i haven't really expanded on this. the fact briar's display of love and devotion are in part dependent on his partner. it can be incredibly healthy, and sweet. but it can also be obsessive; willing to give away everything he is to show how much he loves someone. there is always this balance briar tries to maintain. because his upbringing left him starved horribly for any kind of affection or attention. like it's... eughhgh im too emotionally drained rn to really go off and do a massive in depth post but... briar dedicating himself entirely to someone to the point he's willing to do morally questionable things for them-- ahem.

vampire briar notes .. . thoughts. ( i realize this could work as a witcher au too )
i love the witcher series. so i take a lot of inspiration from there. though i do also love classical horror & other media such a castlevania, and vampire hunter D ,, so idk. consider it flexible for now.
briar has always been a vampire. his family too, though they'd gone missing quite some time ago. ( he has his mother locked away for now )
he doesn't NEED blood, but he likes it. in the witcher, blood tends to act more or less like alcohol for higher vampires. and for briar it's much the same. though he does need it when he's sustained grievous injury.
he's still effectively blind. he can see blurred shapes and colors. ( a very strong prescription might help with this a lot /j ). but his other senses are so keen that briar's really not bothered or hindered by it in the slightest.
briar's got a lot of very run of the mill vampire abilities; but he has a particular affinity for empathic manipulation / the power of suggestion. i really wanted to go off the rails with him, so he's full critter in this. ill be sketching it dont you worry...
